The fun dog show at Grasmere has become one of the largest in the North of England and is, above all, a fun event. It is especially popular with families choosing to enter their beloved pets, and for the many spectators there is an informative and entertaining commentary.
The show is open to all breeds and types, whether pedigree, cross breed or ‘mixture’, and all sizes from miniature to giant. There is an appropriate class for all ages of dao and many rosettes and prizes to be won. If you rescued your pet, tell us your story and line up for the special Rescue Dog Award.
No previous experience is needed for either the dog or the owner, the judge and friendly stewards will guide you, take a good look at your dog, and ask you to take a short run together. That’s all it entails – any dog can enter and any dog can win.
