Every year Grasmere Sports hosts a range of traditional Lakeland sports, and some modern ones too. In recent years we have also been developing the cultural side of our Sports, with Classic Cars, a Crafting Tent, and an Agricultural Show run in partnership with Fellgather and the Crook Young Farmers. Something for all the family!

A superb, completely interactive Circus Skills attraction perfect for galas and fun days.
Ever wanted to run off to the Circus! – now’s your chance to try walking the tightrope, riding unicycles, juggling, diabolo, plate spinning, stilts, chinese ribbons and much more in this non-stop session for all ages.
With Sam the Scam, presenting Beat the Cheat!
A colourful Bunko Booth with traditional fairground and racecourse scams, including ‘Find the Lady’, ‘Prick the Garter’ and the ‘Three Shell Game’.
Lots of audience participation and fun incorporating clever sleight of hand, magic and comedy. A chance to watch the entertainment or have a go. You won’t lose any money but we guarantee laugher!
Everyone has heard of the famous “Find the Lady” trick but few have ever seen it - now here’s a chance to enjoy being fooled and entertained by a trickster with his old-time scams.
